Depending on the altitude at which it is grown, twelve of our tea estates situated in the Nanuoya/Lindula/Talawakelle Agro Climatic District manufacture the finest high grown tea in Sri Lanka. Reputed for their exquisite flavours and aroma the teas range from light delicate and smooth to full-bodied, strong cups. In addition to the regular teas, these estates produce some of the finest Specialty teas in the country.

With the tea fields bordering the serene Horton Plains National Park, at an elevation of over 1400 meters, the teas of Mahaeliya are a bit of a paradox as they are made according to low country manufacturing methods, but possess the flowery taste of high grown teas.

Great Western Estate
The tea fields on Great Western Estate are the largest within the Dimbulla region, spanning 628 hectares. The elements of nature come together in this unique subterranean maze creating an ideal setting for producing the world renowned Great Western teas.
Great Western Estate is also the first tea estate in Sri Lanka to obtain the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) Certificate.

Holyrood Estate is situated in Talawakelle, the heart of Dimbula region. Rail tracks go right around the fields creating a scenic view. 1st factory to be ISO 50001:2018 certified in the country.
Wattegodda Estate
The picturesque St. Clair waterfall cascading from the slopes of its lower reaches frames the idyllic backdrop for this garden, nestling between the Dimbulla and the Kotmale valleys, the unique combination of these cooler and warmer micro-climates giving its teas that particular colour and appearance, only found in the handful of marks qualifying as Dimbula leafys.

Logie Estate
While driving through the narrow, winding road from Nuwara Eliya to Hatton, you reach the beautifully rural Lindula town and her neighbour, the quaint tea estate named after the home of Sir James Elphinstone who hailed from Garioch County, Aberdeen, Scotland. His son, who ran the estate too, was simply called Logie and became a legend in his day achieving record prices for the pure Ceylon Teas produced at Logie Estate.
